Physical Therapy

Florida Orthopaedic Institute provides physical therapy services in-house for the rehabilitation needs of our patients. The very nature of our orthopedic practice often involves the connection of our patients with physical therapists after seeing one of our specialists. This allows us to provide seamless care while allowing our physicians to more closely monitor the quality of patient care.

Our mission is to provide excellent care to our patients and immediate access to our rehabilitation centers. Our focus is to initiate therapy services within 48 hours of our orthopedic specialist’s referral.

The goal of physical therapy is to restore range of motion and strength following injury and allow a return to pre-injury activities. Our physical therapy services offer moist heat/ice, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, aquatic therapy, and infrared therapy along with individualized exercise programs developed by our therapists. Our expertise in manual therapy allows a hands-on approach in dealing with joint and soft tissue restrictions through the use of massage, joint mobilization, and myofascial release techniques.

Our ultimate goal is to allow our patients to regain independence in every day activities of life.Our physical therapy services are provided at the following Florida Orthopaedic Institute locations:
