Dr. Beatty is a founding member of Florida Orthopaedic Institute. She received her medical education at the University of South Florida in Tampa and completed a general surgery residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Beatty then pursued plastic surgery training at Duke University. Her hand and microsurgery training was undertaken in Louisville with the world-renowned Kutz and Kleinert Hand Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Beatty has a special interest in the development and growth of the upper extremities and has published journal articles and textbook chapters on the origin of arm structures.


Dr. Beatty has practiced medicine in Tampa for the past 12 years. She is board-certified by the America Board of Plastic Surgery and has received the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.
