James B. Billys, M.D., practices out of the Brandon and Sun City Center clinic locations. Prior to joining FOI, Dr. Billys was an orthopedic surgeon at Orthopaedic Associates Medical Clinic in Visalia, California.


Dr. Billys is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. Billys completed his internship in general and thoracic surgery as well as his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Duke University Medical Center.


Dr. Billys is fellowship trained in three areas. The first is Immunology Research at Duke University, the second is Hand and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the Davies Medical Center in San Francisco, and the third is Spine Surgery at Stanford University.
